A website is not only a marketing tool, it’s a hub for social media, sales, signups, likes and promotion. Knowing the goal of your website will allow you - and the designer - to think ahead proactively to best achieve your specific goals.

Sales — Prada draws you in with gorgeous video and imagery but the first CTA is clear: Shop Women or Men collections with thoughtful inventory placement.
Information - Who doesn’t love Brene Brown?! Her website does a great job of sharing her vast body of work from books and podcasts and more.
Portfolio - I designed the portfolio site for Blueberry Builders. The goal is to easily allow visitors to peruse their projects by category.
Sign ups — Marie Forleo is the definition of a marketing goddess. Her site quickly gets to the point. She will give you something, in this case a quiz for your email and if that’s not your thing there’s another more straight forward signup directly underneath.
