5 Reasons to update your form to Jotform

A form may seem like an insignificant part of your website but after receiving emails from two prospective clients saying they had filled out my onboarding questionnaire and realizing I had not received it, I panicked! I immediately logged into the Google Form I had setup to find their very detailed information which was almost impossible to decipher.

Part of the problem was my selecting the wrong type of field. For example, single vs. multiple choice so clients were limited to one selection and unable to share the full scope of the work needed. The form was also accumulating responses and creating charts. Fun to see but hard to determine how the individual clients had replied. I did a quick search and ***drumroll here*** enter Jotform.

  1. Easy to setup and use. Jotforms are intuitive to setup and easy to use. They offer a variety of pre-built forms or component form fields if you prefer to create your own. They also have excellent resources and a help section that is actually helpful.

  2. Looks matter. Jotforms are highly customizable. You can add a banner image or logo, change fonts, background colors and create pages to categorize various steps.

  3. Get notified. Let’s be honest if you never know your form was filled out then what’s the point. Jotform generates an email to notify you once your form is completed. It’s easy to read. You can even customize notifications so that different people receive notices based on responses. For example, if you select “new design” vs. “redesign” the form responses for the various services could go to different or multiple recipients, departments or roles.

  4. You can easily add conditional logic. IMO conditional logic is the cherry on the top of the sundae. What this means is that you can create a better - and more accurate - user experience based on responses. For example, if you answer “no” to not selling products, you can then hide corresponding questions that relate to eCommerce. This creates more of a custom experience for the person filling out the form, removes irrelevant fields from their form and saves them time. A must have!

  5. Sooooo many integrations! Jotform integrates with a variety of tools ranging from Mailchimp and Hubspot, to Zoom, Google calendars, Stripe, PayPal and more. Want to streamline your interactions or start a pipeline for your prospects, they have you covered.
