Five ideas to jumpstart your marketing efforts in the year ahead.

Year End Planning with calendar and pen
  1. Give your website a makeover.
Okay, I confess I’ve cried through every episode of the new season of Queer Eye but who doesn’t love a makeover?! If you’ve had your site for awhile, maybe it’s time to have a makeover of your own (site). Let’s talk!

  2. Take control and level up your skills.
Not feeling confident to make updates to your website? Maybe it’s time for a refresher course or training session where we can focus on questions specific to your site and ongoing needs.

  3. Get noticed!
If words like “H1, meta data, urls and word count” scramble your brain you are not alone. Get an audit of your Squarespace site so you (or I) can make updates to improve your SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Pro tip: Google loves fresh content so if you’ve thought about starting a blog, there’s no time like the present.

  4. Get paid for your time.
Acuity is a great tool that allows you to sell classes or get paid for consulting time. You control the settings of when you are available (based on your Google calendar). You can require a deposit up front or payment in full and set limits on the amount of time required in advance to book and restrictions of when clients can cancel or reschedule. It can also send text reminders and integrates with any CMS tool.

  5. Sell custom merch!
Printful is an awesome tool that allows you to create custom merchandise with your logo or original art. They provide a variety of mockups that can be used on your site, social media or flyers. It’s print on demand so no overhead or inventory to manage. You see the cost of the items up front and set your price/profit. Here’s an example of a recent Printful project along with a catalog I created in Canva.

Curious about other ways to expand your offerings and marketing? I’ll be on the couch with the creatures, just reach out and say hello.
